OKI C7300n Wins 2003 World Class Award from PC World

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., June 3, 2003

Since December of 2001, OKI color printers have been ranked #1 by PC World.  Now, OKI achieves even higher accolades as the OKI C7300n has been honored by PC World with a 2003 World Class Award for best Color Laser Printer.  The World Class Award Winners will be announced in the July 2003 issue of PC World (online now and on newsstands June 17) with the award to be presented at the ShowStoppers media reception held during CeBIT America in New York.

The C7300n, launched in October 2002, enables businesses to effectively bring color in-house, saving time and money.  High-quality letterhead, presentations, brochures and direct mail are just a few examples of what users can do without having to go outside for color printing.  Utilizing Single Pass Color Technology, the OKI C7300n provides reliable performance in the most demanding environments and can print at speeds of up to 20 pages per minute (ppm) in full color and 24 ppm in monochrome.  The OKI C7300n provides end users with a significantly lower total cost of ownership (TCO), up to 37 percent less than other color laser or inkjet printers, thanks to the long life cycle of toners and other consumables.  Networking and job accounting software are standard offerings on the OKI C7300n, with two-sided printing, hard drives and additional paper capacity offered as upgrades.

Celebrating its 21st year, the respected World Class Awards honor the best in computers, hardware, software, and the Internet.  To select the best of the best, PC World's editors examined the entire spectrum of products that have appeared in the magazine over the past year.  Hundreds of products in 59 categories were judged on performance, value, consistency, and innovation.

"The ultimate buyers guide, the World Class Awards set the standard for excellence in the high-tech industry," stated Harry McCracken, editor of PC World.  "From PDAs to privacy software, PCs to Web-Based applications, the editors reward the finest products and most outstanding performers in this annual award program.  Congratulations to the OKI C7300n."

"We are very proud and honored to have PC World bestow the World Class Award for Best Color Laser Printer on the OKI C7300n," said Keith Shaw, director of marketing, Oki Data.  "OKI is committed to bringing the absolute best in color printing to businesses who require high-performance, reliability, and print quality without having to pay extra for the privilege. We are excited to know that PC World recognizes our innovation."
